The following table outlines what happens to your Guided Pathways data when uninstalling and reinstalling the application.

Data stored outside the Atlassian ecosystem, and lack of uninstall event support from Atlassian.

Global permissions

NO

Confluence Forge Storage

When reinstalling Guided Pathways, global permissions reverts to it's default value of OFF. When reinstalling ensure Global permissions are turned back on manually if required.

Forge storage is linked to the app: once the app is uninstalled the corresponding Forge storage gets deleted.

Individual permissions

YES

Confluence Groups

Any individual users that have been selected for permissions are preserved, but they are not automatically applied after the reinstall as global permissions are OFF.

When global permissions are turned on, any individual permissions configured before uninstall are reapplied.

Confluence groups data is linked to the organisation, not the app.

Group permissions

NO

Confluence Forge Storage

After the reinstall, all group permissions previously configured are removed.

Forge storage is linked to the app: once the app is uninstalled the corresponding Forge storage gets deleted.
