Access your profile
Select your profile image, then select My Profile.
Email address
Any notifications related to your programs will be sent to the email address in your profile.
To update your email address, select the text box under Email Address and enter your preferred contact email. Then, select Save Profile.
Full name
Your full name will appear on data reports downloaded by the program administrator.
Select the text box under Full Name and enter your first and last name. Then, select Save Profile.
Preferred name
Your preferred name will appear in emails, program features like the leaderboard, shared insights, and coaching guides (cogs).
To update your preferred name, select the text box under Preferred Name and enter your preferred name. Then, select Save Profile.
Email preferences
Cognician only sends emails related to your account or programs that you are enrolled in. We never send promotional emails.
To opt out of account- or program-related emails from Cognician, select the check box to clear it. Please note that doing so means you will miss out on important program reminder emails.
To opt in to account- or program-related emails from Cognician, select the check box to tick it.
Tooltip tours
Activate offers guidance in the form of tooltip tours. The tours highlight key areas of the system and explains what they do.
To allow tooltip tours to appear automatically the first time you visit a new page in Activate, select the check box to tick it.
If you prefer not to allow tooltip tours to appear automatically, select the check box to clear it.
No matter your selection, you can manually trigger tooltip tours at any time by selecting Help > Restart tooltip tour on any applicable page.
Notification settings
When you are part of a deployment audience, you can choose to receive various notifications when other participants engage with program insights.
For Insight comments, use the drop-down menu to select whether you’d like notifications for all comments, comments on your shared Insights only, or no notifications.
For Insight likes, use the drop-down menu to select whether you’d like notifications for all likes on Insights, or no likes notifications.
For Email digest, use the drop-down menu to select whether you’d like a daily or weekly email summary of activity, or no email summary.
Avatar image
Your avatar image is used in programs that you are participating in. It will appear alongside your name in shared insights, and on features like the leaderboard.
To add or update your avatar image, select Choose a file to upload. Then, select your image. Remember to select Save Profile to update your profile with your new avatar.
Note that you may only upload .png or .jpg files with a maximum size of 15MB.
