If a learner you are trying to schedule has already sat the exam in question a number of times, you may find their details greyed out in the Candidate Selection Screen. The following message will also show under the 'Reason' column for the learner:

In this instance, our Exams Team will need to support you and book the exam on your behalf.

We ask that you please compile the following information and send it across to our Exams Team via exams@eal.org.uk so that they can book the exam for you:

  • Candidate names

  • Candidate numbers

  • The exam code

  • Date chosen for the exam

Our Exams Team will schedule the exam and reply back to confirm once this has been completed.

Please note:

In emergencies you may wish to call our Exams Team about this error message. They will try to book the exam for you but, if there are multiple learners or the exam is not taking place within the next 48 hours, they may ask you to email across the information in order to be able to schedule the exams for you.
