If you get the following error message when entering the keycode for an exam, there may be an issue with the internet connection for the exam station that learner is using, or SecureClient is being blocked.
‘Invalid Keycode: SecureClient Core – OFFLINE’
Please take the following steps to resolve this issue:
Please ensure the exam station has a strong internet connection. To test this, please close down the 'R12 SecureClient' software and open a browser window - can you load up a website?
Please ensure Secure Client is not being blocked by the firewall, proxy server or antivirus at your centre.
If the steps above do not resolve the issue, please call EAL on 01923 652400 and ask for a member of the Exams Team so we can look into this for you and advise further. Please have the following information ready:
