We’re delighted to bring you a big update to Your Local Net Zero Hub this month with the introduction of a new feature: Portfolios. Portfolios are filtered lists of buildings suitable for different types of intervention. You can build these up using any combination of data or geospatial based filters.
They’ve already been used by local authorities in a pre-release trial to create shortlists of buildings on which plans have been built such as:
Council owned properties suitable for air source or ground source heat pump installation with minimal additional insulation requirements
Buildings within substation supply areas that are rated ‘Green’ for available capacity
Buildings suitable for rooftop PV outside of Conservation Areas and without listed status
And more!
You’ll also soon be able to use your Portfolios in Projects and Scenarios to bulk deploy changes across larger areas using your own carefully curated criteria. Stay tuned for this!
Get started by selecting ‘Building Portfolios’ in the main navigation bar on the left once logged in and check out our handy guide to portfolios.
We’ve also released a few other updates, including:
Flexibility Zones: Updated to account for the latest flexibility pots according to postcode. View this in Data Explorer>Flexibility and Guidance > Use Cases>Flexibility
Some small bug fixes and UI improvements
As always, you can find ‘how-to’ guides and video guides in the Your Local Net Zero Hub Knowledgebase, as well as Live Chat support.
