Troubleshooting connectors

Introduction

After you’ve added a connector, you may occasionally see error states or warnings. This article explains how to check the status of a connector, what each status means, and which actions you can take to resolve common issues.

How to view connector status

To see the status of a connector:

  1. Open Sana and go to the Connectors page.

  2. In the Your connectors list, locate the connector you want to inspect.

  3. Check the Available column to see its current status.

State

Description

Proposed action

Connected

The connector is healthy and working as expected.

No action needed.

Checking status

An issue has been detected and Sana is automatically verifying and/or trying to recover the connection (for example, right after a token refresh).

Wait for the status to change to Connected or Disconnected. If the connector remains in Checking status for an extended period, try to disconnect and reconnect the connector.

Disconnected

The connection to the external system was lost. This often happens when access is revoked, credentials are updated, or an access token has expired.

Reconnect the connector.

Unavailable

The connector has been disabled for your workspace by an administrator, so it’s not currently possible to use it.

Contact your workspace admin and ask them to re‑enable the connector for your workspace. Once enabled, the connector will reconnect.
