If your Huel referral code isn't working at checkout, work through the steps below in order.
Step 1: Confirm your order meets the minimum spend of £60
Huel referral codes only apply to orders of £60 or more.
Check your basket total before entering the referral code.
If your basket total is below £60, add more products to reach the minimum.
Once your basket is over £60, try applying the referral code again at checkout.
Step 2: Check the code has not expired
Huel referral codes are valid for 90 days from the date they were issued. After 90 days, the referral code cannot be used and cannot be reactivated.
Find the email where you received the referral code.
Check the issue date or expiry date shown in that email.
If today's date is after the expiry date, the code has expired.
If your code has expired, say "talk to a human" and our team will advise on your options.
Step 3: Check the code has not already been used
Huel referral codes are single-use only. Once a referral code has been applied to an order, it cannot be used again on a different order.
If you have already placed a Huel order using this referral code, the code is no longer active.
If you received a new referral code from a friend, make sure you are entering the new code and not a previously used one.
Check your email for the most recent referral message -- that code should be the active one.
Important to know
Huel referral codes are designed to reward genuine recommendations. The referral system will automatically block codes in the following situations:
Self-referral -- attempting to refer yourself using a different email address.
Multiple accounts -- creating additional accounts to reuse the same referral code.
Other workarounds -- any attempt to apply a referral code more than once or to a non-qualifying order.
These protections are in place to keep the Huel Refer a Friend programme fair for everyone.
Still not working?
If your Huel order is over £60, the referral code has not expired, and the code has not been used before -- and it still isn't applying at checkout -- say "talk to a human" and our Customer Experience team will investigate and help apply the discount to your order.
