If your NHS discount code has expired, you'll need to reapply to receive a new code. Here's how to renew your NHS discount and update your subscription if needed.
NHS discount code expiry
Validity period NHS discount codes are issued for a 12-month period. After 12 months, your code expires and can no longer be used.
Code no longer works after expiry Once your NHS discount code expires, it will no longer apply to:
One-off orders
Subscription renewals
Future purchases
Expired codes cannot be reactivated or extended.
How to reapply for a new NHS discount code
To continue receiving your NHS discount after your code expires:
Visit the Claim NHS Discount page
Click Claim NHS Discount
Log in or create an account
Verify your eligibility using your NHS email address
Upon verification, a new NHS discount code will be generated automatically
Your new code will be valid for 12 months from issuance.
If your subscription had an expired NHS code
If your NHS discount code expired while attached to your subscription, the discount will no longer apply to future renewals. Your orders will revert to full price unless you add a new code.
How to update your subscription with a new NHS code:
Log into your Huel Account at https://uk.huel.com/account/login
Click on My Subscriptions
Select Manage Subscriptions
Click Add a Discount Code
Enter your new NHS discount code
Click Submit to save it
Your new NHS discount will apply to all future subscription deliveries.
Why your subscription reverted to full price
When a discount code expires:
The code automatically stops working
Subscriptions continue but without the discount applied
You won't be notified automatically — it's your responsibility to update your code
Orders will charge at full price until you add a new valid code
This is why it's important to reapply before your code expires (before the 12-month mark).

New code issued automatically — Upon successful verification, a new code is generated immediately

If you're currently employed by the NHS (as a doctor, nurse, healthcare worker, or NHS staff member), you remain eligible for the NHS discount. Simply reapply using your NHS email address to receive your new code.
