Create user

If you want to add or manage users, you can follow these instructions.

Only the person who is the owner of the company account in tracezilla can create new users, delete or manage existing users or assign roles and setup visible menu items for the roles.

Add new user

  1. Click you company name in the top right corner and select Company Settings in the drop down menu.

  2. Go to Users & Access > Users.

  3. Click Invite user.

  4. Enter the email address of the person you wish to add to the company and select which role they should have: Administrator, Accountant, Production, Controller, Sales Representative, Purchaser, Logistics and Warehouse.

  5. Click on Invite user.

The price per user depends on which subscription you have selected. You can read more about this in Pricing and plans.

Remove/delete user

  1. Click on your company name on the right side of the top menu and select Company Settings in the dropdown menu.

  2. Click Users and access.

  3. Select Users in the left menu.

  4. Click on the user you want to remove.

  5. Select Remove from organization in the Role field.

When a user is removed from the organization, their membership is also removed. This means the user will no longer be included in your subscription, so you will no longer be charged for them.

The activity log history is retained, so actions performed by the user in tracezilla can still be seen in the activity log.

Permissions and Access restrictions for roles

It is possible to limit which menu items are to be displayed for the different roles, as well as to restrict access to individual key functions in the system.

  1. Click you company name in the top right corner and select Company Settings in the drop down menu.

  2. Click Roles and Permissions.

  3. A pop-up window will appear. Here you can shift between the tabs Visible Menu items and Access Restrictions.

  4. Under the tab Visible Menu items you can select which role should have access to see and edit the features in tracezilla.

  5. Under the tab Access Restrictions you can define what the different user roles should have access to.
