About the integration
With the Blue Water Shipping integration, you can send your orders directly to the 3PL partner and receive information about the delivery status of the order. You can read more about 3PL in the glossary.
When you create a purchase order in tracezilla and confirm the order so the status changes to Order, the information from the order is transferred directly into Blue Water Shipping's system. When Blue Water Shipping receives your goods, they can carry out the goods reception check more efficiently, because they have information about how many and which product types you expect to receive. Similarly, you receive information from Blue Water Shipping about the lot numbers of the received lots once they have completed the goods reception check.
The traces and shelf life information for your goods are included on your orders to Blue Water Shipping traces for traceability.
When Blue Water Shipping dispatches your lots on a sales order, your order in tracezilla automatically changes status to Dispatched.
Connect and configure the integration
Click your company name in the top right corner and select Company Settings in the drop-down menu.
In the section Extensions and integrations, click Integrations.
By Warehousing and Logistics click Ongoing WMS to set up the integration.
Enter the Warehouse name you have received from Blue Water Shipping.
Enter the Username for your user at Blue Water Shipping.
Enter the Password for your user at Blue Water Shipping. Make sure you type the password correctly.
Enter the Owner Id in the field, or use the arrows to select a number. You also receive the Owner Id from Blue Water Shipping.
You find the Warehouse location by first selecting the partner that the location belongs to in the top field. Then you can select the partner's warehouse location. The partner and the location must be created beforehand. Read more about creating partners.
When you have filled in the information, click Connect.
The integration requires the Powerpack add-on module. You need to set up a number of scheduled jobs so that updates from Blue Water Shipping are retrieved into tracezilla automatically.
Shipping method
You must have created a tag for the shipping method in advance so you can select that tag here. For example, you can simply name the tag "Shipping method. Read more about tags and how to create them. The shipping methods are retrieved into tracezilla from Blue Water Shipping. Each shipping method is created as a partner location and adds a tag to the partner.
If you experience errors
If you experience orders with status EDI error or Receipt Control this may be due to an error blocking the integration. You can locate the error by using the integration log. Read more about how to read and use the integration log here.
