What is a cohort?
We define a cohort as a group of customers who made their first purchase in your store during the same month. So there is the January 2023 cohort, the February 2023 cohort, and so on.
What is it used for?
Cohorts can be segmented in our dashboards (through filters) by acquisition channels or order sources for more detailed analysis. Cohorts are particularly important for the Lifetime Value (LTV) analysis, as well as the understanding of the average delay between orders.
