Confirm actions that have been done and/or indicate the status of things with Checklists

Updated over 3 months ago

Both Instructions and Checklists are essential components found within a Guide. While instructions are designed to support capturing processes, checklists allow users to capture operational data:

  • Checklists enable end-users to confirm that actions have been completed and to indicate the status of various tasks.

  • In addition to the check finding, users can include additional details (text or media) based on their observations on the shop floor.

Complete & Submit a Checklist

  1. Open a Guide & go to a Checklist

  2. Click on the arrow to go to the first Check

  3. Go through the checks one by one and enter your findings:

    • βœ… Green Check: Select this to record a passing or true score if the findings meet the specified parameters or the answer is β€œYES”

    • ❌ Red Cross: Select this to record a failing or false score if the findings do not meet the specified parameters or the answer is β€œNO”

    • ⬜ Blank: Leaving the answer blank records an incomplete score

  4. Optional: Add Details

    • Click β€œAdd details” to provide comments or upload an image or video (limit of 20MB)

    • Type your comments in the text field

    • Select an image/video from your library or take a new image/video by using the camera on your device

    • Click "SAVE" to store your details

  5. Once you've reached the end of the checklist, review the results you've recorded in the Checklist Summary

  6. Fill in your name & click "SUBMIT RESULTS".

Submitting Checklist Offline with the Native App

Users can also complete and submit checklists offline using the Native App:

  • Offline Mode: Download the Guide for offline use and complete the checklist while offline. The results will be submitted once the device reconnects to the internet.

  • Confirmation: A confirmation message will appear if the saving was successful. Otherwise, an error message will be displayed.

  • Guide Updates: If an admin or editor makes changes to the Guide, users need to delete the existing Guide and download the updated version.
