Preparation

Please make sure that you have connected HubSpot with your Superchat account.

Overview of Contact Attribute Synchronization

You can add any HubSpot contact attributes to Superchat. For each contact attribute, a new attribute is automatically created in Superchat and linked to your HubSpot integration.

All synchronized HubSpot attributes are "read-only," meaning you can view the values in Superchat, use them in filters, templates, and campaigns, but you cannot modify them.

The values of your attributes are updated once at night and whenever a HubSpot standard attribute is updated. If you change a custom HubSpot contact attribute, the contact will not automatically update. This will only happen when a standard attribute is changed or during the nightly update.

Synchronized HubSpot attributes are identified by the HubSpot logo displayed before the contact attribute.

Setting Up HubSpot Contact Attribute Synchronization

  1. Click on your existing HubSpot connection in Superchat.

  2. Next, select Sync from the left sidebar.

  3. Choose a HubSpot attribute from the dropdown menu under Add HubSpot Attribute.

  4. Click Save after adding all desired attributes. Your attribute values will now be synced during the nightly update.

  5. You can update or delete attribute options for multi-select and single-select fields via the three-dot menu (...). If you delete an attribute, we will remove it from Superchat, and it will no longer be available in automations, templates, etc.
