Cancel or edit a recurring event

If you have created a series of recurring events, you can easily edit or delete the entire series. Follow the usual steps to edit or delete an event. After clicking on Edit, you can choose between "Edit only this event" and "Edit this and all future events".

This allows you to edit or delete just one of the events without affecting the rest of the series.

You can find the procedure here.

Frequently asked questions

Is it possible to repeat a monthly event on a specific day of the week?

It's not possible for an event to be repeated every 4 weeks, e.g. the last Friday of every month. It's only possible to repeat weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

Why can't I see the option to edit or delete all events in the series?

If the person who created a series leaves the group or is deleted without a new person being added as an admin, the series will be converted to a single event and the group manager must delete one event at a time.

I receive an error message when I try to create a recurring event, why?

Check if you've entered time zone in your profile, if you'ven't selected a time zone you'll receive an error message and it won't be possible to use the recurring event function.
