Setup
An initial setup is required for the calendar integration. You can find details here: Smart Calendar - Connect your calendar
Interview scheduling
Once you have completed the setup, a new tab will appear in the interview planning dialog.
If this tab does not appear, please check that you have connected your calendar. Also make sure that Smart Calendar is enabled for your system.
Schedule an Interview
With Smart Calendar you can send your candidates an appointment invitation via the system. You can find details on how to set up the system and how to proceed here: Smart Calendar - Schedule Interviews
Propose multiple dates
With Smart Calendar you can offer your candidates several interview proposals. This makes coordination easier and saves you having to go back and forth in communication.
Simply select multiple events in the week view. You can select as many date suggestions as you like up to a maximum of 4 weeks in the future.
When clicking on Next, new mail templates are now waiting for you, which contain a link that allows the candidate to choose dates independently. The link is generated via the [smart-calendar-scheduling-link] macro and can therefore be easily integrated into your customized mail templates.
Status of the invitation
After sending the invitation, the status card changes and shows you the available date proposals. The number of available dates is constantly updated and changes as soon as there is a change in your availability.
Selecting a date
Candidates will receive a link with the invitation e-mail for choosing a suitable date independently.
After confirming an appointment, the candidate receives another e-mail with the details of the appointment and a calendar invitation. You can view and customize the confirmation to the candidate in the mail self-service in the system settings.
The status in the system is updated accordingly, as in the case of a single appointment: Smart Calendar - Schedule Interviews
Change in availability
If your availabilities have changed and there are no more released dates available, the candidate's view is automatically updated.
For you, this status is also transparently visible in the system. In this case, you can simply add further appointment proposals. The link for the candidate does not change and is still accessible.

For the calendar integration in softgarden we use our partner Cronofy. Only the servers of Cronofy in Germany are used.
