Smart Calendar - Connect Video Provider

With Smart Calendar, you can schedule video interviews directly from the softgarden system. To get started, simply connect your favourite video provider and add it when scheduling interviews.

It is necessary to connect your calendar with the softgarden system before scheduling video interviews. Please refer to the documentation here: Smart Calendar - Connect your calendar

Currently supported are the following video services:

  • Microsoft Teams

  • Zoom

  • GoToMeeting

  • Google Meet (*only available if you also connected your Google Calendar account)

  • softgarden Video (Jitsi)

Connect a video provider

To get started, head to the calendar section in your profile. Here you will find a list of connected video providers. By default, the integrated softgarden video service Jitsi is enabled.

Click on Add Service to add additional providers. A new page opens and you will receive an email from our partner Cronofy to verify your account. Simply click on the link in the mail to continue.

Next, click on your desired video provider and login with your account. For Google Meet, no login is required and the authentication is done automatically when connecting a Google Calendar account.

After successful login, your video service will be added to the list of available providers and you can start inviting applicants for a video interview. Multiple providers can be added at the same time for maximum flexibility.

Schedule Video Interviews

When scheduling an interview with Smart Calendar, you can now choose your preferred video service.

The video information will be generated when the event is created in your calendar and the other participants are informed.
