From “Missing receipts” to “Required receipts” – this has changed in the filter in the accounting view.

We need a receipt for these transactions.

Updated this week

Release: February 12, 2026 📅

The previous filter “Missing receipts” is now called “Required receipts” – and now shows only what is truly relevant for you.

Why the change?

Not every transaction requires a receipt. The new filter ensures that you only need to take care of transactions where a receipt is actually required so that we can record them correctly.

What does the filter show now?

The filter only shows transactions where:

  • no receipt is available, and

  • we need a receipt to correctly categorize the transaction, and

  • the transaction has not yet been verified by us.

In short:
Everything shown here currently requires your attention.

What is no longer shown?

These transactions will no longer appear in the “Required receipts” filter:

  • Already verified transactions

  • Private transactions

  • Transactions that we can correctly assign without a receipt, for example:

    • recurring payments for software & licenses or telecommunications costs

    • certain tax and private bookings

This keeps the list clear and focused only on real to-dos.

View all transactions

If you want to see all transactions (including those that do not require a receipt):

Simply select the “All transactions” filter next to “Required receipts.”

There, you’ll get a complete overview of everything – regardless of whether a receipt is required or not.

Symbols explained

Small symbols in the transaction list help you quickly understand the status:

Paperclip 📎
→ A receipt is attached to the transaction

Checkmark ✅
→ The transaction has been categorized and verified by us
→ Green means: everything is completed

Do I need to categorize transactions myself?

Usually: no
We handle the categorization for you.

Exception: Private transactions

If a transaction is private, please let us know. You can do this easily by:

  • selecting the category “Private”, or

  • adding the note “private” in the personal note field

Uploading & deleting receipts – what’s important?

As long as a transaction has not been verified:

  • you can upload and delete receipts as often as you like

Once a transaction has been verified by us:

  • uploaded receipts can no longer be deleted

Want to make changes afterward?

Simply contact us – we’ll be happy to help.

Even if we were able to verify a transaction without a receipt (e.g., recurring payments), you can still upload a receipt later at any time if you need it.
