How can I input cash expenses into my bookkeeping?

Avoid cash transactions whenever possible. If for some reason this is not possible, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open the accounting tab in the smarta Web-App.

  2. Add receipts and invoices (using the "External Transaction" field) that did not go through your business account or expenses that you made in cash. You can upload the receipts individually or via drag & drop.

  3. Our accounting team takes care of the correct booking of your income and expenses.
