How can I input cash expenses into my bookkeeping?

Avoid cash transactions whenever possible. If for some reason this is not possible, you can follow these steps:

  1. Pay with cash and take the receipt.

  2. Make a wire transfer from your business bank account to your private bank account with the exact same amount, as you see on the receipt.

  3. Upload the receipt to attach to this transaction.

  4. Leave a personal note in the transaction details for our team to explain the cash expense.
