Release Notes – 2025-12-10

This update includes improvements to object list filtering, tags in SkyView, and enhancements to the reporting tools.

Updated this week

Filters and Tags in the Object List

It is now significantly easier to find, group, and work with objects in SkyView. The new filtering tools let you control exactly which objects are displayed in the object list and quickly retrieve the information you need.

You can filter by:

  • Created

  • Photographed

  • Created by

  • Tags

  • Timeline

  • Type

Multiple filters can be combined to efficiently navigate even large projects.

Example: Filtering POIs

The Photographed filter is particularly useful when working with POIs. For example, you can:

  • display all POIs photographed on a specific date

  • filter POIs with recently taken photos

  • filter POIs photographed by a specific user

  • combine photo dates with tags for even more precise lists

This gives you a quick overview of newly documented POIs.

Tags on Objects

All object types — design, areas, lines, POIs, and CAD — now support tags.

In the Tags section, you can:

  • add existing tags

  • create new tags directly from an object

  • use tags as a filtering parameter in the object list

Tags are shared across all users in a project, enabling a consistent and organized workflow.

Manage Tags: Create, Rename, Delete

In the new Tag Management view, you can:

  • create new tags

  • rename existing tags

  • delete tags that are no longer in use

This gives you full control and makes it easier to maintain a clear and consistent tag structure.

Show Elevation Values and Segment Lengths

You can now display both elevation values and segment lengths directly in SkyView for objects created via Design, Areas, and Lines.

  • Elevation values are shown for points and line segments created in Design

  • Segment lengths can be enabled for all object types above

  • These functions are also supported for objects created using the Measuring Tool

Elevation and length values are included in the CAD Drawing PDF report.

Create Text in Design

The new Text tool makes it easy to add your own notes and labels to drawings.

You can:

  • click in the scene to place text

  • click and drag with the left mouse button to rotate the text and adjust its size

  • choose text color via Attributes

Text elements are automatically included when exporting to CAD Drawing PDF and DXF, making it easier to create clear and informative drawings.

Track Changes on POIs

You can now view the history of each POI, providing better traceability when collaborating in projects.

You can see:

  • when a POI was created

  • which user created it

  • if and when a POI was updated

  • which user made the change

This makes it easy to follow responsibilities and changes over time.

Improvements to CAD Drawing PDF

The CAD Drawing PDF report has received several enhancements that result in a more professional and clearer output.

You can now:

  • add your company logo

  • include a north arrow

  • export with vector graphics for sharper CAD geometry

  • include orthophotos with improved resolution

  • choose an option for black lines and text only

  • adjust line thickness

These improvements make it easier to create reports that are clear, polished, and tailored to the needs of your recipients.
