Drone Harmony for DJI Dock

This section describes how to add integration for DJI Dock and automatically create new cloud processing.

Updated over 4 months ago

In the SkyMap Portal, you can add integration with Drone Harmony for DJI Dock through the Connect module. This allows you to plan your flight route in Drone Harmony and automatically add the flight routes you want cloud processing for to your SkyMap project.

How to add Drone Harmony integration for DJI Dock to a project:

  1. Log in as a Company Admin in the SkyMap Portal.

  2. Click on the project you wish to connect the integration to.

  3. Go to the Connect module.

  4. Click on Add Integration.

  5. In the dialog, the available integrations to connect via SkyMap Connect are displayed. Add the Drone Harmony for DJI Dock integration.

  6. The integration is now added and appears on the left in the list of integrations in the project. You now need to activate the integration with your Drone Harmony login credentials.

  7. Click the Activate button.

  8. A new tab opens in your browser where you need to log in to Drone Harmony with your user account.

  9. After logging in, you need to refresh the page in the SkyMap Portal. Click the Refresh button.

  10. The integration is now activated, and you can add flight routes in Drone Harmony for cloud processing.

How to add a flight route:

  1. Click the Add Flight route button.

  2. The dialog for adding a flight route is displayed.
Go to Drone Harmony and open your Site containing a flight route you want to create cloud processing for.

  3. Right-click on the flight route under Plans and select Copy Guid.

  4. Go back to the SkyMap Portal and paste the flight route's guid in the ID (guid) field.

  5. Choose the Processing package to be used when the drone has completed the flight (standard or orthophoto).

  6. Choose whether a ground model should be generated. Generates a ground model based on the classified point cloud.

  7. Choose whether GCP (Ground Control Points) should be used in the flight route. If you use a GCP file for your flight route, GCP adjustment (flag movement) is ordered from us, and you will receive an email when the flight is available in SkyView.

If you need to check or correct which points the GCP file contains, you can do this by clicking on the name in the field.

  8. Save the flight route with Add.

  9. The flight route is saved, and when a flight route has been completed, images are retrieved from the drone, and a cloud processing is automatically created based on the package specified for the flight route. When the cloud processing for a flight route is completed and available in SkyView, you will be notified via email.

Important to know: Only flight routes owned by the integration manager in Drone Harmony can be added.
