Sitly is created and run by parents, so we understand your concerns. Sitly is not a babysitting agency because parents can choose between babysitters themselves. Instead, we've created a means of contact between parents and babysitters to make the process easier and faster. Many families prefer to have control over the selection process, rather than have a third party, such as an agency, do it for them. We also believe that it is better to let parents decide who will look after their children.

The selection process of babysitters is carried out independently. Most babysitters have references and recommendations from other parents, which you can access. Parents can choose and filter based on various criteria, such as education, experience, references, language skills, and hourly wages. Remember that it's a good idea to have a conversation over the phone or video before you meet up in person, so you can find out if the babysitter is right for you and your family. We also advise you to check references from other parents.

Sitly checks profiles and messages on an ongoing basis, but if you find a profile that seems suspicious, you can report it. We will investigate the matter carefully and take appropriate actions if needed.
