Admin approval to connect your Outlook to Samdock

When connecting your Microsoft Account, you may see the following message. As we are currently in beta, we are still in the process of completing our app verification.

In order to be able to use the calendar, your Global Administrator would need to update the User consent for applications settings.

Once set up, you may still require separate approval from your Administrator.

If you see the above screen, add a justification text for granting access and click on Request Approval.
Your administrator would then have to approve this on the Azure portal:

  1. The administrator receives an email about your request

  2. They then have to log in to Azure

  3. Navigate to Enterprise Application --> Admin consent requests --> All(Preview)

  4. They can then review the request and select "review permissions and consent"

  5. Once completed, the user requesting access would have to restart their process to connect to Samdock

  6. Once the permission is granted for one user, the Administrator can add this permission for user groups in the organization
