Activities are the primary source of participant data collection in a Recollective study. Each Activity consists of related exercises, called Tasks, which function like the individual questions in a survey.
Activities can be completed in real-time (synchronously), over several days (asynchronously), or by administrators only for analysis purposes, depending on your research goals.
You must be logged in as an Analyst or Moderator to add a new Activity.
From the applicable Study space, navigate to the Activities tab and click on the Add Activity card.
Name the Activity and press the Add button.
Choose an Activity type: Standard, Journal, Live Group Chat (Focus Group), Live Video Interview (IDI), or External Content.
External Content Activity is a paid feature that must be purchased with a Subscription phase to access. For more information, reach out to our Sales team at saleshelp@recollective.com.
(Optional) Customize the look of your Activity card by selecting from our library of icons and photos, or by uploading your own image. Access these options from the Activity card's drop-down menu using the Select Image option, or drag and drop your image file directly onto the Activity card.
Save time by copying an existing Activity from the same Study or from another Study on the same site, instead of adding one from scratch.
