High-quality, complete data is key to accurate emissions and effective decarbonisation. That's why we have built a visualised overview of your data uploads over time. It shows where your emissions data is complete, partially uploaded, or missing — all organised by emissions category.
This overview is here to support your data review and help you take control of your data completeness. It is not a scoring or rating tool. Instead, it offers a clear overview of your current data collection, helping you identify any gaps that may affect your reporting. This is especially useful ahead of generating your emissions report, as it gives you the opportunity to address any missing data and ensure your results are as robust as possible.
Time filters
Use the platform’s filter to select a time frame for review. Choose a starting month and year to generate a 12-month view, beginning with your selected month.
Emissions overview
This default view shows you the aggregated data completeness for each emissions category across all your facilities within the selected time frame.
Status breakdown on Overview page:
GREEN = Complete data (100%): All facilities have data for the category and period.
ORANGE = Partial data (1–99%): Some facilities are missing data, or some emissions have been estimated using National Averages.
A clock-style visual shows the level of completeness—darker orange shows the amount of data that has been filled in.
If a facility uses National Averages for a given category and month, it counts as 50% complete. These estimates are a good preliminary step but should be replaced with activity data.
GREY = No data (0%): No data has been uploaded for any facility in that category and period.
Category deep-dive
Click on any category to dive deeper into its data completeness in more detail. This view gives you more granularity and helps you locate specific data gaps.
Status breakdown on single Category view:
GREEN = Complete data: Data has been uploaded for this facility for the selected month. Note: This doesn’t mean every day in the month has data, just that some data is available for that month.
DARKER GREEN = National average: No data was uploaded, but emissions were estimated using National Averages.
GREY = No data: No data has been uploaded, and National Averages have not been used for that facility and period.
