We're sorry to hear your payment method won't work. Let's help you troubleshoot.

Note that some chargers have two card readers - One for RFID cards and one for bank cards, please ensure you are presenting the correct card to the correct reader.

Contactless Payment

Osprey chargers take a pre-authorisation fee of £25 or £45 before a charge. Please check your payment method and sufficient funds.

In some instances, contactless limits have been exceeded and you will be required to enter your pin to authorise the payment. Unfortunately this is not something that can be done at the terminal. Please log in to your online banking to re-set your contactless limit, or try another card.

Osprey RFID Card

If you have an Osprey RFID card, you will need to register it in the Osprey app before use. You can do this by navigating to your profile, select 'RFID cards' then 'add new'.

Please note that Osprey RFID cards only work at Osprey charging stations.

Third Party RFID Cards

If you have a third party RFID card, you will not be able to register this in the Osprey app but you will still be able to use it at an Osprey charging station. Please ensure you are holding it to the correct card reader.

If your third party RFID card fails, please contact the third party directly for support.
