The Members page in the Member Portal contains all public profiles of both companies and members.
There are 2 tabs on this page:
Members - members will have their bio, social media, email, etc. displayed here.
Depending on whether members have opted to connect their social media profiles, each social media profile will have a clickable icon taking you to their profile.
You can also use the messaging function to directly message someone from here.Companies - similarly to members, companies will again have their bio, website, and email displayed here (if available).
Search and filter
You can type the name of a member/company you're looking for in the search bar. Several filters allow you to narrow down your search:
Location - this will filter members and companies by their home location.
Company (only visible in the Members tab) - this can be used if you're looking for members from a specific company.
Skills/Tags - members and companies can set tags for their profiles to be used as filters.
How to hide or show my profile on the Member Portal
You can decide to hide or show your profile in the Members section. This can be controlled from your Profile settings.
Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner and choose Profile.
In the Personal section of your profile page, you'll see a button called either Everyone or Only Me.
Click on it, and you'll see the following privacy settings:
Here, you can enable your profile to be visible to the public and in the Members section. You can also specify which parts of your profile will be public:
Contact Details - your contact details (email, phone).
Socials - your social network links.
Make your choices and click Save.
Configure privacy settings for the Members page (Admins only)
If you are an admin, you can activate or deactivate the Members page, and configure its privacy settings. To do that:
Open the Flex Admin Portal and go to Settings > Experience Hub > Member Pages.
Select Members Wall to make the Members page available on the Member Portal.
Select which members will be visible on the Members page based on their current status.
Select the privacy settings of the Members page:
Select whether to show companies' contact details.
Select whether to show members' contact details.
Select whether to show companies' public profiles.
Select whether to show members' public profiles.
Select whether to show a member's profile on the Members page only after they've saved their privacy preferences in the Welcome Wizard.
Members will be required to complete the Welcome Wizard before their profile becomes visible.
This ensures that privacy preferences and key profile details are captured up front.
Scroll to the bottom of the Member Pages section and click Update.
