Knowing your growth is good, knowing why is better.
This page allows you to immediately identify the departments that are causing you to lose or earn money.
5 axes can be analyzed:
Revenue : Which departments make me gain or lose sales.
Margin : Which departments make me gain or lose margin volume.
Revenue-Margin: Which departments have an over or under performance of Margin which compensates the gains or losses of turnover.
Initial Retail Price: What are the impacts of every department on the increase or decrease of initial Retail price. Please note that the increase or decrease in the overall IRP can be correlated with a positive or negative progression of a department or with the evolution of the department mix. For example: the outwear department with a high IRP can see its IRP increase but paradoxically it can cause a decrease in the overall IRP because its contribution to total sales decreases, in this case it is a question of a mix effect.
Average Retail Price : What are the impacts of every department on the increase or decrease of the average retail price. The above remark on mix effect in IRP must obviously also apply to the ARP.
In this graph every contribution to the overall performance is reported by radius. In Red negative impact, and in green positive impact.
This diagram allows you to immediately focus on the real problems of the brand and the real opportunities.
