Overview
Validation is conducted to ensure the compliance of completed Checklists, and it can be performed using both the mobile and web apps. This introduces an additional layer of action to the Results processing by ensuring that another set of eyes reviews the Checklist outcomes.
Users must be Super Users or have the following role and prerequisite to validate Checklists:
Results: Validate
Part of the Reviewer group for the relevant Schedules
Prerequisites for validating checklists
Two prerequisites are essential for the validation process to function. These are:
Enabling the Schedule for validation.
Adding Reviewers with the necessary permissions to validate checklists.
Let's begin by activating Validation for our Schedules.
Step 1: Set up checklists for validation
Navigate to Schedules
Choose the Schedule to which you want to add Validation
Click the Edit button
Within the Schedule, click the Settings button
Scroll down to Compliance and toggle on Mark all results as requiring validation
Click Save
Step 2: Make a Reviewer role
In order to validate Results, Users need additional permissions to approve or disapprove these Results. While various combinations of permissions are possible, we'll demonstrate the minimum requirements for this process:

Click the + Create button
Name your Role (e.g., Reviewer)
Scroll to the Results section
Enable the Validate and Validate Missing options

Note: Before the Schedule goes live, ensure that you've added Users/User Groups who will serve as Reviewers. This is crucial for their ability to validate as needed.
Step 3: Assign Reviewers
Once you've ensured that your Mobaro Users have authorization to validate results, you can designate them as Reviewers within the Schedule editor.
Navigate to Schedules
Select a Schedule you want Reviewers added to
Click the Edit button
When in the schedule, click the Settings button
Add Users/User Groups inside the Review section
