This article is about: invalidating results and the different workflows that follow. You can either reschedule the result, or approve that the result is missing. This is to ensure compliance in your documentation.

Invalidating a result is a way of deleting, but without completely deleting all traces of the result. This way you keep the data and you have the documentation of why the result is invalidated and, if any, which actions were made due to the invalidation.

How to invalidate a result

All results are listed in the results tab, but depending on the schedule of the connected checklist, the invalidation has different workflows. Mark the result(s) you want to invalidate and click the invalidate

icon.

A result with an active schedule

If the schedule is still active a blue warning will show, telling you that when the result is invalidated, the checklist will automatically be available to the assignees again. You can choose whether the answers from the invalidated results should be resumable in the new available checklist. The user who conducted the invalidated result will be notified, that the checklist needs to be completed again.

  • A result with an active schedule has not passed its deadline, which means that the invalidated result will not be marked as a missing result – as you have still got time to complete the result.

  • The invalidated result will appear under the Invalidated Results tab, to make sure that Mobaro have documented all results and actions made.

A result with an inactive schedule

If the schedule is expired a yellow warning will show. Before you invalidate the result, you have the option of rescheduling the expired slot. Furthermore, you have the option of making it resumable, meaning that the answers form the invalidated result will be included in the rescheduling. If you choose to reschedule the expired slot, the next step is to configure the rescheduling with all the normal scheduling options. When clicking the invalidate button you both invalidate the marked result(s) and reschedule a new slot if chosen.

  • The invalidated result will appear under the Invalidated Results tab, to make sure that Mobaro have documented all results and actions made.

  • Because of the expired schedule the invalidated result will also appear under the Missing Results tab. The missing result is also a part of the documentation, as there would otherwise appear an empty slot with no results connected. From the Missing Results tab you have the option of approving or rescheduling the missing results. Read more on how to handle missing results here.
