Overview
Before your teams can track stock, Inventory needs to be enabled for your account and pointed at the Warehouses you operate from. This is a quick, one-time setup. This article covers what's involved and how to get started.
🚀 Early Access: Inventory is an early-access feature. Enabling it and the initial configuration are currently done together with Mobaro Support — contact them to turn Inventory on for your account.
Why this matters: Getting your Warehouses and default Warehouse right at setup means stock lands in the right places from day one — and your transfer and requisition pickers only show the locations your teams actually use.
What setup involves
Step | What it does |
Enable Inventory | Turns the feature on for your account. During early access this is handled by Mobaro Support. |
Set up Warehouses | The stock-holding locations Inventory uses. Only the Warehouses you set up are available for stock, transfers, and requisitions. |
Choose a default Warehouse | The Warehouse used when no specific one is chosen — the sensible fallback for everyday actions. |
Best practice: Set up only the Warehouses you actually operate from in Mobaro. A focused list keeps stock views and the transfer and requisition pickers clean, and avoids confusion over locations your teams never touch.
After setup
Once Inventory is enabled and your Warehouses are in place, you can:
Build your catalogue of Products and Categories — see Products and Categories.
View stock levels per Warehouse — see Warehouses and stock levels.
Adjust, transfer, and requisition stock as your teams work.
