To change/update your request state login to SFM and go to requests tab.
One you receive a request and you tap on it to view it there are a series of actions which can be carried out on the request, in the example above:
Travel
Start
Reject
These actions will change with the state of the request as well as the state of other requests
Travel:
When using the app, the next request to be assigned could be in a different location within your job site. To complete the job, you must relocate to the required location. To mark yourself as travelling to a certain location for a request,
Tap on the request to open the details of the request
Hit ‘Travel’
The request changes to travelling state and you start travelling to the request’s location.
A quick status bar opens at the bottom of the screen, showing the current request, the activity and where you are needing to travel to (the ‘from’ location). Tapping on the bar automatically opens the request details on the current request and hitting the stop button opens the current request details and stops the travelling.
Only one request can be active at once, i.e. you cannot travel for or start a different request while one is in progress
Start a request:
Once you are at the location given in the request, you can tap ‘Start’ on the request details to mark the request is in progress.
Once you start a request a quick status bar opens at the bottom of the screen, showing the current request, the activity and the ‘to’ location. Tapping on the bar automatically opens the request details on the current request and there are pause and complete quick actions.
Reject a request:
Sometimes you might be about to go off shift, or on a break and you are not able to accept a request given to you by the central desk. In this situation you can reject the request
Select the reason for the rejection and hit the REJECT button to notify the desk that you cannot complete the request
Pause a request:
If you have started a request and it cannot be completed for any reason you can hit pause. You will need to choose a reason to pause a request
Optionally, you can set a time that the request needs to be paused for. This updates the time on the request
When request is pause the action on the request details changes to ‘Resume’. When the request is no longer in progress you can start a different request while its paused.
Complete a request:
Once the request has been completed, you can hit ‘Complete’ to complete the request. The App will ask for confirmation. You can hit 'Yes, complete this request' and the request will be marked as completed and removed from your list.
