We know how important it is not to miss anything your client tells you. That's why, if your recording stops, the audio recorded up to that point stays safe.
Why it can happen
It happens to everyone: you close the tab by mistake, your connection drops for a few seconds, or your computer freezes.
What you'll find when you come back to Lexroom
Your recording is paused, right where you left it, with all the audio recorded before the interruption. Just turn it back on to carry on with your meeting. At the end, all the audio ends up in the same Note.
Can I pause a recording myself?
Of course. You can pause and resume whenever you want, for example if your client needs a moment or you take a coffee break. Everything you record before and after the pause stays in the same Note, so you have it all in one place.
Do I need to tell my client I'm recording?
Yes, and it's an important step. Before you record, let your client know the meeting will be recorded: it protects their privacy and builds trust. Before you start, Lexroom asks you to confirm the terms of use for this feature.
