We’ve been busy over the summer working on new features. Here’s our roundup of updates to LENZA in September:
Load Assessment in Projects | You now have the ability to estimate the effect of your plans on the local electricity network. You’ll see a new tab in your Project assessments called ‘Load’ where you’ll find a load assessment based on substation headroom data provided by SSEN to suggest whether your project could exceed network capacity. Null values in export | As some of the more eagle eyed may have noticed, null values in the application are represented as -123456. This led to some confusion when exporting data to CSV. We have now replaced -123456 with the word NULL or Unknown in all exports. |
New Permission Groups for Admin Users | We’ve made it easier for admins to add new users to the application by creating four default ‘permission groups’. These groups have pre-set permissions based on user type which ensure you don’t grant invitees access to data they should not use. Read more here. |
Distribution Future Energy Scenarios | The Distribution Future Energy Scenarios have been updated in LENZA to align with the latest forecasts from SSEN. Read more about DFES and how it can be useful to you: Forecasting future needs of the network |
