Dataset Metadata

You can now view metadata with ease in Local Energy Net Zero Accelerator!

Currently, we track the following data points:

  • Creator - Origin of the dataset, for example the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ).

  • Spatial Coverage - Geographic coverage of the dataset.

  • License name - The license associated with the dataset. Where possible a link will be provided, such as the Open Government License. The license gives detail of the extent to which this data can be shared.

  • Format - File format of the dataset.

  • Source - URL to the dataset origin.

  • Publisher - Official publisher of the selected dataset.

  • Publication date - Date which the dataset was originally published.

  • Updated at - Date which the dataset was last updated.

  • Accrual periodicity - Where applicable, the frequency of updates. For example, annually.

To view a dataset's metadata, click on the info icon (between the dataset name and the download icon) next to the dataset you'd like to review in the Data Explorer:
