🎯 Purpose of this article

The Reporting module allows administrators and managers to monitor volunteer engagement, analyze the progress of initiatives, donations, and challenges, and measure employee satisfaction.
It includes graphs, key indicators, performance highlights, and a dedicated data export area.

1️⃣ Accessing the Reporting section

Accessible from the Enterprise space > Reporting tab, this section includes several sub-sections depending on the modules activated on your platform:

  • πŸ“Š Preview β†’ General dashboard and global indicators

  • πŸ“’ Acquisition β†’ Analyze new account creation and volunteer growth

  • πŸ“‹ Initiatives β†’ Track registrations and participation

  • πŸ† Challenges β†’ Monitor employee engagement in challenges

  • πŸ’° Donations β†’ Analyze financial contributions

  • πŸ“ˆ Results β†’ Overall performance across a selected period

  • πŸ‘€ HR Impact β†’ Insights from the end-of-initiative questionnaire

  • πŸ“₯ Exports β†’ Downloadable datasets for advanced reporting

πŸ’‘ Good to know

  • All figures are rounded to the nearest whole number.

  • Data exports are updated four times a day: 6:00, 12:00, 18:00, and 00:00 UTC 0.

  • You can apply filters by time period, initiative type, and professional vs. personal time.

πŸ“’ Acquisition

Monitor platform traffic to measure the effectiveness of your internal communication efforts:

  • Employee accounts: Number of new accounts created during the selected period (excluding users who never logged in)

  • Visitors: Unique collaborators who logged in at least once during the period

  • Visits: Total number of logins β€” each login counts as one visit, even for repeat users

πŸ“‹ Initiatives

Track the relevance and performance of your volunteering offer.

The initiatives in this section include those that involve a defined time frame and direct interaction with a nonprofit (e.g. one-off volunteering, mentoring, skills-based volunteering).

  • Registered users: Unique employees who signed up during the selected period, regardless of the initiative date or final status (includes canceled sign-ups)

  • Registrations: Total number of registrations made during the period

  • Canceled registrations: Number of registrations later canceled, but initially made during the selected timeframe

  • Participants: Unique users who actually took part in an initiative during the selected period. Pending participations are included or excluded depending on the selected calculation method, which can be customized. Learn more here.

  • Participations: Total number of participations recorded during the selected period. 1 participation corresponds to 1 date (a single initiative may have multiple dates).

  • Hours completed: Total duration of initiatives completed in the selected period

πŸ† Challenges

Challenges have no set date or time and can be completed independently at any time, without nonprofit interaction.

  • Participants: Unique users who completed at least one challenge during the period

  • Challenges completed: Total number of challenges completed during the selected period

πŸ“ˆ Summary

  • Completed hours: Total hours spent on initiatives during the selected timeframe

  • Challenges completed: Total number of challenges completed

  • Organizations supported: Number of nonprofits that received at least one participant or donation

  • Top causes / beneficiaries: An action (initiative or challenge) may appear multiple times if several themes or beneficiaries are assigned

  • Engagement funnel: A user is included in the funnel if they:

    1. Logged in

    2. Registered for an initiative

    3. Participated in it during the selected period

πŸ‘€ HR Impact

Provides aggregated feedback from end-of-initiative surveys:

  • Number of survey responses

  • Participant satisfaction score

  • Insights into:

    • Retention

    • Sense of purpose

    • Perceived usefulness

    • Skills development

πŸ“₯ Exports

Each export allows you to filter by date, nonprofit, areas of action, or Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

⏱ Note: Exports are updated four times a day (6:00, 12:00, 18:00, and 00:00 UTC0).

FAQ

Why is the number of participants different between the KPI and the Engagement Funnel?

These two indicators measure different things:

β€’ Participants (KPI): the number of unique employees who actually participated during the selected period.
β€’ Engagement Funnel: unique employees who viewed the initiative, registered for it, or participated during the selected period.

The difference between the two may come from participation records added manually (i.e., without a prior registration) or registrations that were created outside of the reporting period.

Why does the "Hours Completed" KPI differ from the total shown in the Top Action Areas or Top Beneficiaries?

The totals may differ because the same hour can be counted more than once.
When an initiative is associated with multiple action areas or multiple beneficiaries, its hours appear in each corresponding category.
However, the "Hours Completed" KPI counts each hour only once.

How is the number of participants calculated based on participation statuses?

After an initiative ends, each registration is moved to the β€œPending confirmation” status.
It is counted as a participation only once it has been confirmed by one of the following:

β€’ The employee: by validating their participation through the confirmation window displayed at login, or via the e-mail sent once the initiative date has passed.
β€’ The initiative coordinator: whether from the nonprofit or the company.
β€’ The Komeet team: when a participation is manually validated by a Komeet administrator.

The way participants are calculated can be adjusted in the β€œParticipants” section.

How can I change the participant calculation method?

From the settings, you can manage how participants are calculated, depending on whether you want to include all participations (with the statuses Awaiting confirmation and Participated) or only participations confirmed by the volunteer or the coordinator (status Participated only).
