How to add and use reason codes

The admin of an account has the ability to add 'Reason Codes', which help you understand why gifts are being sent across your organisation. By asking senders to select a reason before sending, you can link activity back to specific use cases, campaigns, or even company values. This makes your reporting more meaningful, giving you clear insights into the purpose and impact of your gifting.

How do to add reason codes to your account:

  1. Head over to the yellow side bar on the left of your page.

  2. Click on 'Teams'.

  3. Scroll down to 'Reason Codes'.

  4. Add a new reason code, click 'Save' and you'll see them show as a tag.

  5. Once you've added your reason codes, please decide whether you'd like to apply to your team and/or subteam(s).
