Huggg User Roles
To give you total control over your gifting budget and oversight, we offer three distinct user roles. When you invite a colleague to your team, they are added as a Participant by default.
Role | What they can do |
Admin | Full Control. Can add/remove members, top up the wallet, view all invoices, and send gifts. |
Team-Viewer | Oversight + Sending. Can send gifts and see all transactions and reports for the entire team. |
Participant | The Sender. Can send gifts using the shared balance, but can only see their own personal transaction history. |
Can we have more than one Admin?
Yes! We actually recommend having at least two Admins on your account. This ensures that if one person is away or leaves the company, your team isn't locked out of billing or user management. There is no extra cost for adding additional Admins.
How to change or upgrade a role
Currently, user roles are managed by the Huggg Support team to ensure account security.
To upgrade a colleague (or yourself) to Admin or Team-Viewer:
An existing Admin should send an email to hello@huggg.me.
Include the email address of the colleague you wish to upgrade.
Specify which role you would like them to have (Admin or Team-Viewer).
Our team will process the request and notify you once the permissions have been updated.
π‘ Pro-Tip: When to use Team-Viewer
The Team-Viewer role is perfect for Managers or Team Leads. It allows them to continue sending rewards to their own reports while giving them the "big picture" view of what the rest of the team is spending, without giving them access to company billing or sensitive invoices.
