A VASP can receive up to three badges within the Notabene Network. These badges represent the entity’s Travel Rule (TR) capabilities and are visible to other participants. However, they do not indicate whether a VASP has previously sent, received, or responded to Travel Rule data. Instead, the badges reflect the entity’s technical capabilities within the Transact Network, rather than its historical activity.
Receive: the entity is able to receive notifications regarding incoming Travel Rule data from counterparties.
Respond: the entity is able to respond to incoming Travel Rule transactions.
Send: the entity is able to send Travel Rule data to counterparties.
Please note that Network badges are displayed differently depending on how you access the network:
When viewing the public network page, badges appear as described above.
When accessing the VASP network from your dashboard while logged in, badges are shown in the legacy format: In-Network, Claimed, and Verified. For more information, please refer to this article.
