What is a Super Vasp?

A company is labeled as Super VASP when receiving all 3 badges that appear under its name. This badge helps to add credibility to the VASPs profile and demonstrates a commitment to compliance to its counterparties.

How can these badges be earned?

  • Claimed: an employee of the company has successfully registered an account.

  • In-Network: the VASP can receive notifications about incoming Travel Rule transfers via email.

  • Verified: the vasp has contracted with Notabene or the SafeConnect profile has been completed and basic identity checks have been implemented. You can find more information on uploading the documents here.

Once all three steps have been successfully completed, the company will automatically receive the “Super VASP” badge.

Please note that Network badges are displayed differently depending on how you access the network:

  • On the VASP network section of the dashboard: badges appear as described above.

  • On the public network page badges are shown as Send, Receive, and Respond. For more information on this view, please visit this article.
