Each bottle of Huel Black Edition Ready-to-Drink contains 390 calories from August 2026 onward, updated from the previous 400 kcal.
Why did the calorie count change?
Updated testing showed that the product's average calorie content is closer to 390 kcal, so the packaging has been updated to reflect this accurately. This is a correction based on more precise testing — not an intentional reduction in the recipe.
When does this change?
The updated recipe (and 390 kcal labeling) rolls out by flavor from August 2026. If your bottle still shows 400 calories, you have the previous recipe — both are nutritionally complete with 35g protein and 27 vitamins and minerals.
Strawberry Banana: Early August 2026
Chocolate, Vanilla: October 2026
Chocolate Peanut Butter, Cookies & Cream: November 2026
Iced Coffee: December 2026
How do I know which recipe I have?
Check the nutrition label on the back of your bottle. 390 calories = new recipe. 400 calories = previous recipe.
