When you create tasks, you would simply add an address to each task that the driver needs to complete, and the system will build a route that goes to each of the addresses. However, if you want your driver to pass by a specific street or a certain spot, you can simply adjust the route segments so the path looks exactly how you need it.
✅ Route segments are the sections from the address of a task, to the address of the next task. For example, from the address of task 1, to the address of task 2 would be the first segment.
Edit a route segment
🔔 You can only edit route segments of routes that are drafted or planned but that have not started yet. Additionally, you also cannot edit finished tasks.
Go to
Online Map and open the "Tasks" tab at the top.
Open the vehicle that contains the route with tasks.
Find the route on the map (you may need to scroll over the general location of the route).
Choose the route segment you want to edit and click on it.
Drag and drop anywhere on the segment onto the desired point.
And that's it! The route will automatically save with to your adjustments.
