When using our Switzerland heavy vehicle charge reporting system, there may be situations where the data collected needs to be corrected (like, a problem with the device, GPS signal, or trailer connection).
To help ensure accurate toll declarations, we support several types of manual corrections, each designed for specific cases.
"Fix" or "Dismiss" possible issues
Our system will detect possible issues with GPS and trailer connection changes, and you will have the flexibility to review these possible issues and select if you want to "fix" (make a manual correction) or "dismiss". To do this:
Go to
Integrations -> Swiss HVC.
Go to the "Declarations overview" tab.
Click on a day that has a light red colored background, which indicates possible issues.
Review the possible issues listed at the top.
For each one, choose if you want to "fix" or "dismiss":
Fix – If the this issue needs to be fixed, use this option and a window will open were you can make corrections with the respective declaration type.
After submitting the correction, this issue will be marked as resolved and it will move to the bottom of the list.
Dismiss – Choose this option to mark the possible issue as acknowledged without making a correction. Use this option if the possible issue is not relevant.
When all possible issues for that day have been either fixed or dismissed, they will move to the bottom of the list with a "Reset" button and the colored background on the "Declarations overview" will disappear from the grid.

Manually correct any declaration
Besides the possible data issues that we are able to detect, you can also choose to manually select a declaration to make any corrections that could be needed. This can currently be done from two places, the "Declarations overview" tab and the "Vehicle registration" tab.
This feature is useful in cases where the system didn't record data correctly due to a device or signal issue.
From "Declarations overview"
Go to the
Integrations ➜ Swiss HVC.
Go to the "Declaration overview" tab.
Locate the declaration for which you want to make a correction and click on it. (Each row represents a vehicle, and each column represents a day of the month selected).
Click the "Correct declaration" button at the bottom of the window.

Click the "Submit correction" button.
From "Vehicle registration"
Go to the
Integrations ➜ Swiss HVC.
Stay on the main tab, "Vehicle registration" and find the declaration you want to correct.
Click the edit icon
at the end of the row you want to change.
There you can update the data.

Wait for correction approval
After submitting your declaration corrections you will have to wait for the correction to get approval from FOCBS, you can quickly view their status from the "Declarations overview" tab.
