Creating custom plants [Phone]

Editing plant icons to represent unlisted plants using an iPhone or Android phone

Choose a plant that is similar to the plant you want it to represent, or select one of the generic plant icons (fruit bush, flower, tree, other etc)

Add the plant to your plan where you want it to be. Double-tap on the plant in your plan, or tap once on the plant to highlight it then tap on the Edit button in the Edit toolbar:

Tap on Add Variety.

Type the plant's name in the Variety Name box, then tap Add.

To change the spacings or sowing, planting and harvesting times, tap on Customize Varieties.

Tap Edit.

Check the Use Custom Spacings box and edit the spacings.

Check the Use Custom Times box and tap on the calendars for the months or half-months that are appropriate for you growing this plant.

Tap Save All Changes.
