How to deal with powdery mildew on plants such as squash

Updated over 2 years ago

To limit the spread of powdery mildew, clip off any affected leaves as you see them.

You could also try making up a spray made of milk diluted with water. About 30% milk to 70% water is considered effective, and you can use skim or whole milk. Spray it on the leaves every 10 days.

Powdery mildew is unsightly, but often plants will continue cropping successfully.
