How to prevent fungal diseases on tomatoes
Updated over 2 years ago

It's common to prune out the lower leaves of tomato plants to help improve airflow, which reduces issues with fungal diseases.

Avoid splashing the leaves when watering, or try to only water in the mornings to allow the leaves to dry fully.

Remove all plant debris at the end of the season and rotate crops to make it less likely that the fungal spores will overwinter and reinfect the crop next year.
