What is Greenwheels?
Greenwheels is a Dutch shared car provider with cars parked at fixed locations across the Netherlands. Through Figo, you can use Greenwheels cars as part of your work mobility. Your employer covers the costs, and no personal Greenwheels subscription is needed.
Do I have access to Greenwheels?
Access depends on what your employer has set up. Open the Figo app and you'll see if Greenwheels is available to you, it will appear on the map. Don't see it? Check the filters or contact support@figo.app for questions.
Getting started
Before you can book your first Greenwheels car, you need to complete some steps:
1. Upload your driving licence
Upload your driving licence in the Figo app and upload a photo of your licence. Once approved, you're ready for the next step.
2. Activate your Greenwheels account
In the Figo app find a Greenwheels car and tap Activate account
You'll receive an email from Figo to set up your Greenwheels account
Follow the steps in the email to complete activation
Once activated, you can start booking cars on your employer's account.
You only need to activate your account once. After that, you can book directly from the Greenwheels app for business purposes.
How do I book a car?
Bookings are made in the Greenwheels app. Use the Figo app to browse available
cars from mynear you and find a suitable one, then complete the booking in Greenwheels.
Unlocking and returning the car
Opening and closing the car is done through the Greenwheels app. Make sure you have the app installed before your trip. At the end of your trip, always return the car to its designated Greenwheels parking spot.
Costs
All Greenwheels costs are billed directly to your employer via Figo. You don't need to pay out of pocket or submit an expense claim.
