What are the reports like for the academy?

🦉 Academy reports ✓ Global admin ✓ Group admin ✓ Group progress report

There are different ways to view reports in the academy. Here's an overview of all of them.

Depending on your admin level, access to academy results varies. Read more on different roles for administrators.

You can view results per group. Go to Academies > Manage and select a group. If you don’t see your group, click View all groups. We’ll explain each report option below.

1. Exam and course results

You have an overview of all exam and course results for a chosen group. You can filter by date, participant, title, completion status, score, and certificate status. This gives you an opportunity to create a detailed report based on your filtering options. Both exam and course results can be exported.

For participant session details, click the View button in the Actions column.

2. Participant progress

The Participant progress report is only available with an Advanced plan.

This report lets you quickly check how your participants are progressing. You can Filter by progress to see who has finished, who has not completed your training, and who hasn’t started yet. After applying the filters, you can send reminder emails to selected participants.

3. Reports

At a glance, you can see the number of certified and uncertified participants, pass/fail rates, skills, and average score, giving you a quick visual overview of exam success.

This makes it much easier to track learning progress, compare statistics, and understand how your participants are performing.

This page shows only completed exams. Information about certificates will show if certification is enabled.

This page is a work in progress. More reports will follow.

Grading categories

The grading categories you have created will be shown in a pie chart. This gives you a quick overview of pass/fail rates. You must set grading categories for each exam. Go to Exams > Exam title > Grading. Read more on how to create an exam.

Average score

The average score is calculated based on the best session per participant. It gives you a quick overview of how your participants are performing on average.

Certificate

The certificate report shows the percentage of certified participants and the number of certified and uncertified participants.

Skills

The skills chart provides an overview of all question categories for the exam. These can help in identifying knowledge gaps. At a quick glance, you can see which skills perform better than others, which could mean, for example, that your participants may need additional training or that your material needs adjusting.

If you hover over a skill, you will see the exact average score.

To see the skills chart, you must create question categories for each exam. Learn more about how to create question categories.

If you are a global or academy admin, you can view exam and course results at the academy level. Go to Academies > Manage, and choose any option. Then click Results in the left-hand menu. You can select the group you want to view results for in the drop-down menu.
