How do I end a rental when I’m not with the bike or cannot lock the bike?
If you realized you forgot to end your trip after walking away or your bike simply does not lock, you can manually terminate the rental through the app.
📲 Steps for Remote Return
Distance Requirement: Ensure you are at least 30 meters away from the bike.
Request End: Tap "End Rental" in the app.
Connection Attempt: The app will try to search for the bike via Bluetooth. When the connection fails, it will ask: "Are you with the bike?"
Confirm Absence: Select "No."
Pinpoint Location: Use the map to mark the exact location where you left the bike.
Finalize: Confirm the details to end the session.
Message: If you could not lock the bike, send us a message through the app right away so we can secure the bike, include the address where you left the bike.
⚠️ Liability & Risks
Potential Fees: If the bike was not left at an official drop-off location, you may still be subject to relocation fees or fines.
The Safest Option: If you are unsure if the bike was locked properly, we strongly recommend returning to the bike to end the rental while physically present.
