Step 17 of 18: Configure Rail Bracket Fixing Profiles for Hydraulic Elevators

A2.17: Hydraulic Elevator System

Written by Alexandra Göttert

Prerequisites

  • You can configure a lateral guided gear base construction.

Steps

Preparation: create the practice project

1.) Create and save the practice project. Using the Shaft Wizard, create a project with the ALGI elevator solution (download it from the Cloud if not available):

  • ADH 1200 – 1Z1,2,3 – SM700 – KB 800

  • 4 floors, typical floor-to-floor distance 3000 mm

  • Consider travel: No; Create building floor levels: No

  • 16 persons / 1200 kg, 0.5 m/s

  • Elevator characteristics as specified

  • Sheet templates LD Installation Drawing and LD Typical Views For Your Elevator

  • Save it as LDTrainingSampleA2_06.ld3.

Rail bracket fixing profiles

2.) Understand fixing profile groups. A rail bracket can consist of one or more predefined fixing profile groups (similar to product options) — for example standard profiles, cylinder fixing profiles, and guide rail fixing profiles — configured manually via the component properties.

3.) Switch off the jack fixing profiles. Switch them off for the selected rail bracket.

Result

You understand how hydraulic rail brackets are built from fixing profile groups and can switch individual groups — such as the jack fixing profiles — off.
