This begins the visualization part of the tutorial — creating custom colors and surfaces you can apply to any BIM component's 3D objects.
Prerequisites
The cabin design components are completed
Steps
1.) Add a new render color record. In DigiPara Liftdesigner Datamanager, add a new render color record with a specific description. Open a new table tab to save the new content.
2.) Set the RGBA value. Set the color's RGBA (red, green, blue, alpha) value. The alpha channel specifies opacity, as a number between 0 (fully transparent) and 255 (not transparent at all). This value relates to the render color's OGL_RID (surfaces) field.
3.) Review the available texture modes. Colors and textures can be designed differently for CAD views, using different texture mode options.
4.) Confirm the new color is available in DigiPara Liftdesigner. Reload or reopen a component's Properties window and confirm your new render color now appears in the color picker.
Result
A new custom render color exists in the DigiPara BIM Library, ready to be applied to any component's surfaces.
